This folder contains the data and code for generating figure 10: The magic angle in an electric field

The main script is StarkEffects_errors.py which outputs the figure to pdf and png. 
This file computes the AC stark shift as a function of angle and intensity for a rigid rotor given the known molecular parameters.

\EXP Data contains the experimental data 

There are subfolders with the electric field indicated by the folder's name

files Betadata.csv contain the variation of polarisation at fixed intensity in the following format
polarisation angle (degrees), Transition frequency (MHz), error( MHz)

file Intdata.csv contain the varition of intensity at the magic angle (~54 degrees) in the following format
Control Voltage (V), Transition frequency (MHz), error(MHz)

the conversion to intensity is done by the script.
